One Point One January 30, 2006

Karrde

It hasn’t been long since Beta 1 was released, and already another version. But as is obvious from the version numbering, its not a major jump, just bugfixes really. As usual, changes and fixes are below. Some of these bugs were fairly major so I’d advise people to upgrade.

As always, head to the discussion board for the latest info, bug reports, and the like.

    Update mania…

Count me to the people who have updated to WordPress 2.0.1! Without having a closer look at it yet I believe them saying that about 114 bugs were closed. Even including those 114 bugs WordPress 2.0 served my purposes very well.

I love it! I have been using a modified version of Theron’s Bionic Jive theme for a while now, But I had been really wanting something more like Thought Mechanics. This is it!

I hope to start using this when I upgrade my blog to WP 2.x, maybe soon…

    Thanks!

Brilliant: I think this is the best blog theme I’ve seen - and trust me, I’ve been searching high and low for something that seems solidly built, looks good, and stands out from the crowd. It also looks “grown up” if you know what I mean.

I was just wondering if there is a way to remove the RSS feed buttons which come on the frontpage with the newest post. You guys have done it here but I cant seem to figure it out. I checked the forums and discussions but couldnt find it out. Thanks

This is the best theme I’ve ever seen. If only I could make it work. I’ve been tweaking here and there. Haven’t come up with anything yet. The site is still blank.

I have WordPress 2.0. I tried deactivating all my plugins. Still nothing. I put the wp-print.php to my WordPress root directory and followed the instructions. Still nothing. I downloaded the ELA plugin. Still nothing. I wonder what’s wrong. Is it all the revisions I did and the plugin codes I inserted in the files belonging to my former theme (Connections Reloaded) that’s giving me all this trouble? Is that why IT (whatever it is!) is not reading the Squible theme?

I tried to join the discussion board but there’s no reply yet. I really want to use this theme.

I hope someone here will be kind enough to ease my pain. Arghh…

Can. I am using squible on my blog. What problems do you have. Let me know.

Can one use this without all the tagging etc? I like the layout but don’t need all the bells and whistles.

This is a second test. Maybe the leave a reply can also be ajaxed - why not display it at the top when one click on post comments?

    Hi Theron,
I really like the tagging system here on Squible.com.

Are you using any other plugins beside the ones built-in on the squible theme?

It is the UTW? any others?

    Thanks…

I love this theme. However, I have one question. I’m trying to replace the ’squible’ banner at the top of the page but I’m having trouble. How do I replace the banner and keep the menu buttons in the picture I replace it with? Any and all help would be appreciated.
